Mal Dobson & Associates has a strong connection with the East Fremantle Football Club. We are long term sponsors of the club, most recently have provided support to the corporate classic and sponsor a player. Mal is a life member and former premiership player with East Fremantle.

WA Police Football Club

Steve was treasurer from 2004 to 2011 and is a life member of the Australian Police Football Association. Mal Dobson & Associates have sponsored the Hogs since 2005.

Jandakot Volunteer Bushfire Brigade

Steve and Mal have been active volunteer firefighters for 15 years. Mal served as the treasurer for 15 years and remains an active firefighter. Steve is a former member of 16 years, holding positions of Captain, Secretary and Fire Control Officer.

In 2009 Mal Dobson & Associates was awarded a silver medal by the Fire and Emergency Services Authority of Western Australia (FESA WA) in the inaugural Volunteer Employer Recognition Program (VERP). This is a very prestigious award and recognises the dedication that Mal and Steve place on volunteerism in the community and to contributing to a safer community.
